Inspire a passion for STEM in your community
From the beginning of the 2019-20 school year, we're achieving our mission through chapters at high schools all across the nation. These chapters will work with local elementary schools and community sites to implement our after-school programs and workshops, inspiring students through engaging experiments and growing the Curieus movement.

What is a Curieus chapter?
A Curieus chapter is a group of students passionate about helping youth and motivated to take charge to help fulfill Curieus' mission in their community. Traditionally structured as a high school club, chapters are student-run and student-initiated with a chapter leadership team and rotating volunteers each quarter meeting regularly throughout the year. Chapters use the innovative Curieus curriculum and resources to bring their own after-school program, workshops, and larger events to partnering schools and libraries, sparking curiosity in youth in their communities!
What is required of a Curieus chapter?
To successfully achieve our common mission to create science opportunities for and spark curiosity in kids, it is important that all chapters:
Are run by the chapter leadership student team (President, Secretary, Treasurer, etc.)
Have a faculty sponsor
Organize their own after-school program with additional weekly chapter meetings
Host a few community workshops year
To help you get set up, we'll provide you with a chapter manual and set-up guide detailing how to recruit team members, organize effective programs, and run a successful chapter.
