Our volunteers all start as instructors working with young students in our existing weekly after-school programs, exploring science together through hands-on experiments and building meaningful relationships to directly impact and elevate the next generation of innovators.

We recognize the work of our dedicated student volunteers every year as a certifying organization of the President's Volunteer Service Award (PVSA), a highly coveted national award that honors outstanding volunteer service and civic participation. With this honor, volunteers who dedicate hundreds of hours to empowering the future of STEM with Curieus receive presidential recognition and an official medal.
